Wonder Girls has undergone significant changes in their career paths, be the members or conceptual frameworks. Wonder Girls officially made its debut in 2007 as a 5-member band, consisting of Sohee, HyunA, Yeeun, Sunye, and Sunmi.

After their premiere, HyunA left the band due to the safety concerns of her parents. Yubin was eventually added to replace HyunA.

In 2010 Hyerim was introduced to the party after it was revealed Sunmi would take a temporary break. Soon afterward, Sunye and Sohee left the band to keep pursuing other different activities, but as four members, Wonder Girls nevertheless managed to succeed.

In 2017, the band made a surprising official statement as they declared their disbandment, as Sunmi and Yeeun decided to leave the agency.
