KCON publicly stated on the 28th of May that MONSTA X, GFRIEND, The Boyz, IZ*ONE, LOONA, PENTAGON, Golden Child, AB6IX, NATURE, and TOO will be on the virtual concert event for their forthcoming digital music festival.
Throughout most of the live streaming shows by KCON all 10 groups will sing live: TACT and MONSTA X, GFRIEND, The Boyz, IZ*ONE, LOONA, PENTAGON, Golden Kid, AB6IX and TOO will participate in social events with the supporters as well.
Adding up to the already wonderful roster of stars, are the second batch of KCON: TACT line up! Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, MAMAMOO, EVERGLOW, VICTON, ONEUS, Kim Jae Hwan, VERIVERY, CRAVITY, and Natty will hit the center stage during most of the live gigs of the forthcoming online event!
Fans will also be provided by Stray Kids, MAMAMOO, VICTON, ONEUS, VERIVERY, CRAVITY, and JO1.
For all those who actually bought a membership, KCON: TACT 2020 SUMMER will provide all free content and paid material. All free content will be readily available from every area in the country where you can enter YouTube, whilst also paid content would only be readily available in countries in which you can view YouTube Channel subscription.
The paid membership advantages and prices will be released at a later date.
With respect to KCON 2020 LA, KCON stated that while proposals for the event are still in place, plans may change based on the particular circumstance and the regulations of governments.
KCON is an international convention and music event, presenting live performances by prominent K-pop artists. The activity is a commemoration of Korean dramas, fashion, beauty, food, and other cultural aspects that occurs every year in numerous countries.
Earlier this year, KCON 2020 Japan (which was previously slated for April) and KCON 2020 Russia (which was planned for May) was scrapped due to the continued COVID-19 global epidemic; Whereas KCON 2020 NY (due to take place for June) was fully suspended.
That being said, KCON has now revealed that via its brand-new KCON: TACT 2020 SUMMER online festival, fans from around the world would still be able to fully enjoy some of the KCON interaction next month.
From June 20 to 26, Mnet will broadcast for seven full days a marathon streaming of live and pre-taped content, featuring a mix of live concerts from K-pop 's greatest stars, meet-and-greet events, influencer-led panels, and much more. There would also be interactive programs where fans can connect with roughly 30 stars and influencers through live stream calls, live surveys, and much more.
All production will occur directly at Mnet's Seoul studio and a part of the revenue from the project would go to the Learning Never Stops campaign of UNESCO, Which allows children worldwide who have now been impacted by COVID-19 to pursue their education.
