KPOP idol Lim Young-min of AB6IX is now excluded from upcoming comeback activities after being caught by drunk driving.
AB6IX's agency Brandnew Music posted an article on its official AB6IX fan cafe on the 4th that stated, "We will inform you of the fact that our artist Lim Young-min was drunk driving which resulted into suspension of his activities."
According to the official statement of the kpop idol's label, Lim Young-min was caught driving under the influence of alcohol and due to such incident, he will stop his activities. The kpop boy band has 4 days left until our comeback. In the end, AB6IX announced its four-member system, excluding Lim Young-min. Added to that, the release date of the album is delayed to 29 days. The agency even quoted it as a "disgrace."
According to the news, Lim Young-min was caught drunk by the police while he was personally meeting with his acquaintances earlier on the 31st of May while drinking alcohol and moving to his accommodation using his own car. This lead to his license being revoked as per Brandnew Music statement.
The agency added, "At present, Lim Young-min deeply regrets and reflects on himself, and if there is a necessary investigation in the future, he will faithfully cooperate with the police investigation."
Lim Young-min will stop his activities as a member of AB6IX. As a result, AB6IX has four members: Lee Dae-hwi, Park Woo-jin, Kim Dong-hyun and Jeon Woong.
