PlayM Entertainment's new girl group "Weeekly" will finally make its official debut on June 30, and fans can't hide their excitement as it was the first girl group that the company will be launching almost ten years since Apink debuted.

On June 12, PlayM announced Weeekly's most-awaited debut date through their official social media accounts, revealing details about the rookie group's first mini-album titled, "We Are," which will be dropped on June 30 at 6 pm KST.

"Weeekly" is a new rookie group from PlayM, home to Apink and Victon. The girl group comprised of seven members with the surprising 17-year-old average age of the members.

The seven-member group consists of Lee Soojin, Shin Jiyoon, Monday, Park So Eun, Lee Jae Hee, Jihan, and Zoa. Weeekly captures the attention of fans and K-pop enthusiast with their catchphrase revealing their concept, saying, "A New and Special Week Every Day."

Based on the timeline or calendar that was released by PlayM, the female rookie group will release their, "Weeekly Trailer" on June 16. The following day, the group will be having their concept photo #1 then.

Meanwhile, on June 19, Weeekly will be dropping their second concept photo while their tracklist and album pre-order will be revealed and began on June 22. The week before their debut will surely raise the anticipation of fans and music fans more as PlayM will be unveiling a highlight medley of their songs, MV teaser and performance spoiler video, a day before the release of "We Are" Official Music Video.

Weeekly's first mini-album "We Are" is drawing lots of attention from young K-pop fans, as their album will be containing songs which are intended for the youth, following the group's strong desire to show the honest stories of teenagers "as they are", as "We Are" through the members' bright energy and personalities, according to the agency.

Ahead of the group's debut, Weekly introduced their training course to the public through the reality program "PlayM Rookie Development Team" in collaboration with K-pop video channel WonderK (1theK), which started airing on May 27.

The whole music scene is hyping over the group, not just because of their visuals and skills, which was initially shown in the program, but it is also the first time in about ten years that PlayM's new girl group, Weekly will be launched after Apink debuted in 2011. In addition to this, fans of Weeekly are also delighted as Weeekly, or previously known as PlayM girls, will finally be debuting.
