‘The Voice’ 2013 Recap: Two Team Adam Contestants Shockingly Eliminated, Viewers Frustrated That Best Performers Are Gone [VIDEO]

On 'The Voice' 2013 last night, two Team Adam contestants were shockingly eliminated, leaving only the top 6 contestants to fight it out for Season 4. Some viewers were frustrated with the results, as they thought that the two who were eliminated were also the best performers of the season.

The two contestants whom America decided to kick off were Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, both from Adam Levine's team.

Although Judith Hill has proven to the audience that she indeed can sing, her Monday performance of "#thatPower" by Will.i.am and Justin Bieber did not help her stay in the competition.

For last night's special duets, Judith Hill performed together with Michelle Chamuel, singing "Such Sweet Nothing" by Calvin Harris.

Sarah Simmons' Monday performance of "Somebody That I Used To Know" also did not resonate with the judges nor the audience, as viewers thought the song choice had been overused, and Usher also pointed out that Simmons was a bit pitchy at moments.

When the elimination results were announced, Judith and Sarah were strong in facing their elimination, but Holly Tucker, who was last saved by America, was in tears.

Some dedicated viewers were shocked by the results, as they thought that Judith and Sarah were the best performers out of the top 8. There is speculation that the two might have lost because viewers thought that the two did not need the votes, as they were already such good singers.

Several fans on Entertainment Weekly reacted by saying, "Is there something wrong with America?" and were frustrated with the results.

The top 6 contestants that survived the show last night were Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel, Holly Tucker, Sasha Allen, The Swon Brothers, and Amber Carrington.
