Former K-pop idol trainee, Han Seo Hee, showed up during questioning for Hanbin's drug case.
Fans of former iKON leader, B.I., also known as Hanbin, felt relieved as the idol's battle against his drug controversy is almost the end. In April, Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency Investigation Team revealed the idol's case is on its final verdict.
Earlier this year, he was also confirmed that he tested negative of illegal drugs.
On June 23, Han Seo Hee was confirmed to have attended the questioning, held at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. According to the reporters' interview with the former idol trainee, when asked if she altered her testimony as threats might have come from Yang Hyun Suk, former YG Entertainment CEO, she said, "Yes, I will devotedly engage in the prosecution's investigation."
Han Seo Hee caused social media frenzy due to her involvement in Hanbin's case. She became an informant and was said to have been influenced by Yang Hyun Suk to give her testimony in 2016. She was also reported to have allegedly turned down her first statement regarding the K-pop idol's case as she was forced to do so by the former YGE CEO, as per the statement of her lawyer in 2019.
In one of her live streaming, she stunned viewers after confessing that she almost tried taking her own life.
In November of 2019, she was sent to Inha University Hospital. She also asked for an apology to the hospital staff, believing she had lost her mind. She mentioned that it took place after her close friend, Goo Hara, passed away.
Han Seo Hee's involvement in similar cases is not the first time because she was also part of several controversies involving other K-pop idols, such as BIGBANG's T.O.P., who is said to have been her ex-boyfriend. She was known to have been enraged over the unfortunate incident as she was the only one that got jailed.
In the same year, B.I. took the industry and online world by storm after abruptly leaving iKON and YG Entertainment after Dispatch reported that the idol was caught procuring marijuana and LSD in 2016. Han Seo Hee's name came out consequently on the said case as part of the person of interest.
