Idols go through numerous hair color changes between promotions for different comebacks. Whether it be by personal choice or just to suit the comeback, some idols go through numerous dye-jobs to achieve a certain color.
Here are eleven idols who totally rocked their blue locks!
1. Lovelyz's Ryu Sejeong
Sejeong rocked blue hair while she promoted "Tiger Eyes," her solo song that was released last month. People are smitten with the look, with some netizens saying she should keep the hair for future activities.
2. IZ*ONE Ahn Yujin
Ahn Yujin dyed her hair blue in September of 2019 while IZ*ONE was promoting in Japan for their song "Vampire". Netizens couldn't get enough of her hair, and she was called a "Blue Fairy" while she had the color.
3. IU
IU rocked blue hair in 2019 when she released "Blueming." We're sure you can see why she did it! She looked ethereal, rocking the Pantone Color of the Year 2020 - Classic Blue.
4. GFRIEND's Eunha
Eunha dyed her hair blue in 2018 and was first spotted rocking the 'do during the KBS Music Bank 20th Anniversary Special showcase. Fans were excited to see not only blue hair but long hair on the idol, who previously sported short hair for their comebacks.
5. MAMAMOO's Wheein
Wheein was seen rocking blue hair in 2019 for MAMAMOO's "HIP" comeback. People complimented the look on her, saying it complimented her milky white skin.
6. AOA's Seolhyun
Fresh from the group's appearance on Mnet's "Road to Kingdom," Seolhyun surprised fans with her new blue hair for promotions of AOA's comeback "Come See Me." It suited her so well, but it was gone before it was fully appreciated.
7. TWICE's Jeongyeon
Jeongyeon dyed her hair blue in 2018 as TWICE promoted "What is Love?" Her blue is a lot brighter than those on the list, with hers edging towards teal thanks to the green tones. It was a bright look on her and definitely made her stand out on stage.
8. TWICE's Dahyun
Dahyun sported a denim-blue hair color as the group promoted "FANCY." In the teasers for the comeback, she had a blonde-sea green hair color, and in the music video, she had platinum blonde hair. She definitely went through some major changes during this era!
9. ITZY's Ryujin
Ryujin dyed her hair blue for ITZY's comeback "WANNABE." It appears to be a blue violet, and in some lighting can even still look black. When it shines in the light, however, you can clearly see that her hair's primary color is blue.
10. (G)I-DLE's Soojin
Soojin dyed her hair blue in April of 2020, in the middle of the group's "Oh my god" promotions. She initially started promoting with platinum blonde hair and pleasantly surprised fans when she dyed her blue.
11. Red Velvet's Wendy
Wendy dyed her hair blue in 2016 and fans were immediately reminded of when she had the two-tone blue hair color for the group's debut. This color, however, is darker and gave off more mysterious vibes. Some say she looked like a Disney princess.
