A set of K-pop acts are now lined up for the 26th Dream Concert CONNECT:D to be held online.
The Korean Entertainment Producers Association, on July 15, introduced the lineup of the Dream Concert, which will run from July 25 to 26. Through live streaming in the aftermath of the pandemic, fans will definitely enjoy various performances by EXO-SC, MAMAMOO, Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi, Lovelyz, OH MY GIRL, ASTRO, WJSN, Ha Sungwoon, Golden Child, Weki Meki, Jeong Sewoon, The Boyz, Stray Kids, South Club, and ONEUS.
Other acts include ITZY, Kim Jae Hwan, AB6IX, CIX, Rocket Punch, and CRAVITY.
This Dream Concert will use VR, 4K UHD, multi-cam, and Virtual Studio to enhance visual effects and implement EX-3D sounds to deliver an auditory sense of realism. Details about the concert can be found on Dream Concert's official website or its official SNS account.
The annual Dream Concert showcases an array of performances from the South Korean industry's much-anticipated groups and idols. For this year, the most awaited entertainment event plans to "deliver a message of hope and courage to K-pop fans around the world" through its very first virtual concert, which is now called "CONNECT:D."
Aside from the usual concert that they have been producing, CONNECT:D will deliver its state-of-the-art technology that will engage the audience to a different viewing experience, utilizing virtual reality, augmented reality, and fantastic surround sound and multi-camera technology.
In the previous year, Dream Concert housed several popular K-pop artists, such as SEVENTEEN, SHINee's Taemin, Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, (G)I-DLE, and many more. Fans should expect a different kind of experience, along with more participation from various artists.
