Super Junior's Kim Heechul recently revealed to have made legal actions against hateful commenters, and one of them is begging for his forgiveness.
Heechul has been open about targeting malicious comments and finally made his stand by pursuing a legal battle against them. He shared a post about his current move by hiring six lawyers to counter rude online users. A netizen who claims to be one of the accused has afterward posted a message on an online community to the K-pop idol and begged for his forgiveness.
The post started by saying, "Please forgive me if you happen to read this comment. I have done it by accident, and I have in no capacity to pay that huge some."
However, the following statements have stirred a different air over Heechul. "You are living a well-off life, and you are certainly going to live like that, suing weak and ordinary individuals? When you are a celebrity? You are not the Super Junior that I knew. I cannot think that a person who is money-seeking is one of them. If you will pursue with legal complaints and would not withdraw it, then you will be witnessing me die," the malicious commenter said.
"You can't live like that when you are a star! How could you do that to your fans? My parents have no enough money but debts alone. And, I am scarcely making a living because I don't have a job yet. And yet, you suddenly made this. Please think about my family's welfare, and please remove the legal action against me. I have told you clearly if you will not comment on something about my post, you are killing one individual. Change your wrong decision now!" The netizen said when an air of threat that mentions about ending one's life.
Although it sounded like the post is desperate about being sued, netizens are furious at the person behind it, and some believe that Heechul only complained against those who made the worst comments.
"They have received a lot of reports, and they only made legal actions to those with worst malicious comments. If you received it, it only means you have written something extreme," said one comment.
"It would have been good if you never wrote a malicious comment firstly. You are the one responsible for writing it and now asking for leniency? Extremely shameless," another comment stated.
Kim Heechul is not the first celebrity who stepped up and made legal actions against malicious commenters who have been shaming him on social media. There have been plenty instances wherein K-pop idols suffered from emotional distress due to the persistent hate they receive on social media.
The Super Junior member is yet to comment on this message from a malicious commenter who begs for his forgiveness.
