These K-pop groups are the kings and queens of album sales! In April 2018, South Korean albums surpassing 250,000 sales were being certified in accordance with Korea Music Content Association certification levels.
The certification levels are categorized into five: Platinum-250,000 units, 2x Platinum-500,000 units, 3x Platinum-750,000 units, Million-1,000,000 units, and 2x Million-2,000 units.
Among several K-pop groups who released their albums from 2018 to 2020, these K-pop groups are the only idol groups who were given certifications for their excellent records and sales.
NCT (7 Certified Albums)
In 2018, NCT got their first Platinum-certified album after releasing, "NCT 2018 Empathy." Its sub-units, NCT 127 and NCT Dream also recorded several platinum certifications to 2x Platinum certifications.
