Fans are in tears watching former MONSTA X member Wonho's solo music video for his pre-release song "Losing You." The music video marks Wonho's return to the music industry.

On August 14, Friday, Wonho released the English track "Losing You." The track is a pop and R&B song with a soft piano melody that accompanies Wonho's sweet, honey-like vocals. The song is a pre-release from his debut solo-album "Love Synonym Pt.1: Right for Me," which will be released in September.

Wonho was first introduced to people as part of Starship Entertainment's trainee boy group Nu Boyz in 2014, as the boys would post videos to YouTube of them performing. In December of that year, Wonho was a contestant on the Starship Entertainment survival show "No Mercy," where he ended up being selected as one of the members of MONSTA X in the final episode.

Wonho debuted with MONSTA X in 2015 as the group's vocalist. In 2017, he started participating in the writing, composing, and arranging songs for the group.

In October 2019, Starship Entertainment announced that Wonho would be leaving the group following the allegations made against him, claiming that he had illegally smoked marijuana when he was younger. An investigation by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency was launched, and, in March 2020, it was confirmed that the investigation was concluded the rumors were false. Wonho was cleared of all allegations.

In 2020, Wonho signed with Highline Entertainment, a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment. The label said Wonho would be promoted as a soloist and producer. On May 2020, American company Maverick Entertainment announced they signed a management deal with Wonho for his international activities.

On August 9, Wonho announced the release of his first solo album, "Love Synonym Pt.1: Right For Me", which will be released on September 4, 2020. On August 14, Friday, he released the pre-release "Losing You," along with a music video for it.
