ITZY showed off its super-strong visual at the music video set for its new song "Not Shy"!
ITZY unveiled three behind-the-scenes cuts captured at the music video film location for their upcoming track ahead of its release of its new album "Not Shy" at 6:00 p.m. today (17th).
Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna perfectly managed their unconventional outfits, including sparkling spangles, long boots with unique designs and bold accessories. The high-end look, not bound by fancy patterns and formalities, illustrates ITZY's unique aura.
In addition, the five members gave a surprise spoiler about the point dance of "Not Shy" with their hands around their mouths, and during the group dance shoot, they exhibited their "cool-pretty" charisma, raising expectations for their new song performance.
ITZY revealed that "Not Shy" was the most difficult choreography among their songs. This is also why questions are raised about ITZY's comeback as a "stage craftsman." To prove it, the music video teaser for "Not Shy," which contains part of the new song's performance, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube at 11:20 p.m. on the 15th, about four days after it was released.
ITZY held their "ITZY 'Not Shy' LIVE PREMIE" at 4:30 p.m. today; one and a half-hour before the release of the new album, and will unveil its new song performance for the first time. Prior to this, they will meet fans through "COUNTDOWN SPOT LIVE" through various SNS channels such as Twitter, Instagram, Naver V LIVE, and YouTube from 2 p.m.
In addition, at 6 p.m. when "Not Shy" is officially released, they will participate in a live chat on YouTube for the music video and start real-time communication with MIDZY (MIDZY, fandom name).
"Not Shy" is ITZY's first love-themed title track since its debut, showing love that expresses regardless of the ending. JYP Entertainment's head and hit song maker Park Jin-young, Cobi and Ear Attack, who capture the emotions of Generation Z, were listed on the credit list. Regarding the song, Park said, "I focused on expressing ITZY's energy to the fullest. The choreography was also powerful and beautifully completed.
Meanwhile, ITZY won a Daesang for the "ARTIST AWARD" alongside male group TXT during the recently concluded Soribada Music Awards 2020. Despite the current pandemic, the JYP girl group attended the blue carpet night with their stunning all-black attires that flaunted their exuding visuals. Adding to that, the girls gracefully performed on stage proving that they are Korea's number K-pop girl group.
