If you haven't heard of Mr. Trot, you need to take off your earphones, wake up from your quaratine nap and check out this stellar singing competition on Netflix fast! The show that took over Korea by storm continues to have popularity and some former contestants have opened up about their life after the show.

Former (and youngest!) contestant Jeong Dongwon recently sat down with Sports Chosun to discuss the diferences in his life after fame, how his past has changed, the new future he is looking forward to, and his time on the show overall. As expected, the common term of childhood fame came into the spotlight the most and appeared to way heavy on the young 13-year-old idol's shoulders

When asked about his "celebrity grievancies" and how his friends treat him now, Dongwon responded saying, "At first I wasn't close, but because of the broadcast, I became famous, so watching my friends pretending to be close made me feel uncomfortable, it is difficult to describe in words." His parents also fear that the young star developed some form of ADHA as he seemed quite unfocused. He visited a doctor to discuss his feelings more openly (a big relief!).

When hashing over the problems, Dongwon continued, "I thought it was a small thing rather than telling my family, so I thought I could solve it by myself, so I didn't say it."

In the end, Dongwon regretted that he was not able to share his childhood with his father and family more saying that the family lives together these days, but he regretted that he was upset because the time to get together again decreased as he went through busy schedules.

What do you think of this idol's conflict? Common and expected from the entertainment industry or something more challenging? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below.
