Bang Chan is known as Stray Kids' social butterfly. Other than his fellow JYP Entertainment labelmates, he's been spotted being friendly with artists from other groups, such as AB6IX's Woong, KARD's BM, IZ*ONE's Chaeyeon, MONSTA X's Shownu, THE BOYZ's Younghoon, and more. Well, it looks like we can add another idol to that list - BLACKPINK's Lisa!
In the latest V Live episode of "Chan's Room", he revealed that he and Lisa are actually close friends, and spills the beans on how they got close.
Despite what most fans would think, they have been friends for a long time - even before Stray Kids debuted! He said, "I knew her since I was a trainee." As many fans know, Chan has been training under JYP Entertainment for eight years, and it seems the two have known each other since then. It turns out the two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
And that mutual friend is GOT7's Bambam! Bambam and Lisa has known each other since childhood, as they were both part of We Zaa Cool, a dance team in Thailand. They both ended up coming to Korea and training together. Bang Chan and Bambam got close while training alongside one another, as they were both '97 liners. With Bambam knowing both of them well, it's no surprise they all got close!
Here's to hoping for more Stray Kids x BLACKPINK interactions!
