Just like palaces, entertainment agencies according to netizens have their "princesses" as well who is like the face of their companies, and are treated with the most care, "favored", and given the best things among the rest.
These idols are being poured with earnest love for various reasons, not just only by the CEO or the "King" but as well as the other artists in the same company. Based on the netizens, aside from having the best items and treatment, they also have freedom and the crowd's favorite.
However, netizens perceived this "princess" thing as negative, as it seems like people are being biased when everyone deserves to be treated fairly, for they are all doing their best as well. Due to this, these artists coming from the big 3 agencies who are dubbed as "Princesses" can't avoid the hate being directed to them by other fans and netizens, when they are also not at fault for being called and treated like that.
1. SM Entertainment
Late Choi Sulli (former f(x))
Even before Sulli's debut, fans and netizens noticed how Lee Soo Man, the founder of SM Entertainment, was very fond of the late idol as a child. The singer started as a child actress and later on joined SM Entertainment as a trainee when she was on her fourth grade. With her top-notch visual and charms, people loved her as well so much.
However, people started criticizing her for her last promotion with f(x) during the "Red Light" era for having a lack of enthusiasm on stage, even refusing to bow to her audience. Despite leaving the group, later on, the late Sulli enjoyed her life without minding hate criticisms and go against the norms and stereotypes.
Despite everything, SM Entertainment never abandoned Sulli and even debuted on the same label as a solo artist. This brought her so much hate and was criticized for being SM's "princess" who can do everything other idols are restricted to do.
Red Velvet Yeri
When Red Velvet described Yeri in an interview, netizens and fans concluded that Yeri is indeed SM's Princess. According to the members, Yeri despite being the youngest can't be stopped. She has her own way and can say whatever she wants to do.

In particular, the allegation of being SM's Princess started when she was added to Red Velvet as a member out of the blue, where people throw her several negative feedbacks for "lack" of talents. According to other netizens, she is also favored among others and sometimes rude when talking to other members.
Nevertheless, Yeri was loved by several idols, including Heechul, late SHINee's Jonghyun, TWICE Nayeon, EXO, and Girls' Generation members.
2. YG Entertainment
BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie is indeed one of the most popular members of BLACKPINK, not only in terms of music but is well-favored by fashion industry as well. Being dubbed as a "Princess" undoubtedly fits the image of the idol, for her elegant and luxurious image. However, Jennie being labeled as "YG Princess" is not as positive as you think.
The hate and criticisms started when netizens and fans noticed that Jennie seems to stand out among other members in terms of outfits, makeup, MV, and was given the most line division.
It got severe after her "lazy" dancing and dating rumor, where other netizens hated her for trying to ruin the girl group's image. Also, among the members, Jennie is the only member who debuted with a solo album in 2018.
Thus, due to this, fans are saying YG Entertainment is playing favoritism to the idol. But what people don't know is that Jennie worked hard and trained longer than other members, and even encountered several difficulties before reaching who she is now.
Thus, Jennie's popularity is mainly because of her hard works and efforts, and not because of her Princess title.
3. JYP Entertainment
Bae Suzy (former Miss A)
Suzy debuted as a member of Miss A under JYP Entertainment and their debut song, "Bad Girl, Good Girl" eventually become the No.1 Best Selling Single in 2010 in Korea. Also, the female group received a "Song of the Year" award as well--the first K-pop rookie group to achieve it with a debut song.
