Last year, Ariana Grande shocked fans with a photo fo her and Jungkook on her Instagram story, informing fans that Jungkook had watched her Los Angeles show for her "Sweetener Tour", and that the two had met backstage. Now, a year later, fans suspect collaboration between the two may be in the works.
On September 20, Sunday, Spin or Bin tweeted a video that caused rumors to start flying. In the first part of the video, Jungkook is seen singing a snippet of an unreleased song, and it appears to be taken from a recent broadcast.
In the second part of the video, a small snippet of an unreleased song from Ariana Grade plays. When compared side-by-side, Jungkook's singing sound very similar to what is sand in Ariana Grande's snippet. The video soon went viral amongst both Arianators and ARMYs.
Additionally, Lyrics LOL posted two new lyrics pages to both Ariana Grande and BTS's profile. Both songs were called "NOT US" and included a Korean title. While it could be user submitted, fans are still hopeful that the collaboration is happening.
Speculations of a colllaboration between the two artists went so viral, Jungkook became a related search to Ariana Grande on September 20.
Through the years, Jungkook has been very vocal abour his admiration for Ariana Grande. In 2015, during an interview with Summer Sonic Festival in Japan, he named Ariana Grande as the artist he would like to meet. That wish came true four years later during Ariana Grande's concert in the Staples Center, Los Angeles. Both artists took to social media, with Jungkook saying he loved Ariana Grande's concert and how it challenged him to be better on Twitter, and Ariana Grande posting a sweet thank you message to her Instagram.
Following the two's interaction, numerous media outlets reported on the two and the possibilites of working together. It became such a viral moment in both the Western and Eastern entertainment industries, that the photo Ariana Grande posted with Jungkook became one of the nine most liked posts on her page in 2019.
In early 2020, Ariana Grande shared a photo of her alongside Jungkook and the other BTS members. At that time, they were rehearsing for the Grammy Awards. Ariana Grande and BTS subsequently followed each other on Twitter.
For most fans, it would be a dream come true if Jungkook and Ariana Grande collaborate, and fans are positively certain that whatever song they come out with will top the charts and break records. Do you want them to collaborate?

Jungkook is a South Korean singer and songwriter. In 2013, Jungkook debuted as a member of BTS under Big Hit Entertainment. Prior to his signing with the company, he auditioned for "Superstar K". Though he did not pass, he received casting offers from seven different entertainment companies, but ultimately selected to train under Big Hit Entertainment. As a trainee, he appeared in Jo Kwon's "I'm Da One" music video and worked as a backup dancer for GLAM.
Outside of his work with BTS, Jungkook has released one solo song, "Still With You", for free through the group's Spotify page. The song was produced by Jungkook himself and was described as being a soft and gentle song.
