SHINee Key, VIXX N, and 2AM Jinwoon Have Been Discharged From The Military

SHINee's Key (real name Kim Kibum, 29-years-old in Korean age), VIXX's N (real name Cha Hakyeon, 30-years-old in Korean age), and 2AM's Jeong Jinwoon (29-years-old in Korean age) have been discharged from their mandatory military service on October 7, 2020, Wednesday.

All three idols have been discharged from the military without returning to their military base in accordance with the military's COVID-19 guidelines.

All three soldiers joined the military in March of 2019. They served actively in their military service and were all part of the military band after undergoing basic military training. After completing one year and seven months of military service, the three idols will finally return and greet their fans.

SHINee's Key is the second member of the group to be discharged after leader Onew. Jinwoon is the last member of 2AM to complete his mandatory military service, while N is the first member of VIXX to complete his mandatory military service.

Following his discharge, VIXX's N took to Instagram to greet his fans and thank them for their support during his time in the military. His post reads,

"Everyone, I am back! I can be seen as both a long time and a short time depending on how you look at it, but it was undeniably a time in which I grew a lot and learned many things. I will continue to support my juniors who are still partaking in their military duties. I will become a Cha Hakyeon who works even harden. Thank you for waiting for me and continuing to support me. Salute! Sergeant Cha Haknyeon has officially been discharged from the military as of October 7. Salute!"

SHINee's Key, on the other hand, shared an audio message for his fans via the official SHINee website. In his voice message, he is heard saying,

"Everyone, hello! It's Key! The day that I never thought would come for me has finally arrived. I am back and I am healthy. I want to sincerely thank everyone for waiting for me. I will prepare very hard so that I can greet you all again with various promotions soon, so please look forward to it! Once again, thank you for waiting for me. Let us meet again with bright, happy smiles very soon. See you all soon!"

In 2012, he debuted as an actor in the KBS drama "Dream High Season 2". His last drama, "Still 17", was released in 2016. His last single album, "Love is True", was released in 2017.

N is a South Korea singer, actor, presented, and radio host. In 2012, he debuted as a member of VIXX under Jellyfish Entertainment. He debuted as an actor in 2014 with the MBC romantic-melodrama "Hotel King". He is known for his roles in "The Family is Coming" (2015), "Cheer Up!" (2015), and "Tomorrow Boy" (2016). In 2015, he pursued a career as a radio host with his own show "VIX N K-pop" on SBS Power FM.
