On a recent ranking shared by K-pop fans and netizens, the fourth-gen boy groups album sales tally for 2020 on Hanteo has been revealed. Through various social media platforms and online Korean communities, music enthusiasts discussed and reacted to the the top ten K-pop male groups who made it to the list.
In the ranking, ATEEZ, who is hailed as the "Fourth-Gen Leaders" of K-pop, are continuously experiencing a rise in their popularity, as they recently topped the monthly global chart for September. Prior to this, they also maintained their position as No.1 in the weekly global charts in August.
And for Fourth-Gen Hanteo sales this 2020, they are currently at no. 1 who have sold 365,496 copies of their recent album, "ZERO: Fever, Part 1." The group also snatched the eighth spot with their fourth EP, "Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer", with 131,069 Hanteo sales.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids secured two positions on the ranking, reigning as No. 2 and No.4. Their first studio album titled, "GO生" sell out 222,995 copies, while their repackaged album "IN生" which was released on September 14, sits at no. 2 with 266,140 sold copies.
For the third spot, TXT who released their second EP, "The Dream Chapter: Eternity" on April 28, sell-out 235,081 copies. As soon as it was released, it immediately gained more than 180,000 sold units during the first week album sales, debuting at No. 2 for Gaon Album Charts. The group is set to return on October 26 with their third EP, "Minisode 1: Blue Hair."

The Boyz is also on the list as top 5, who is currently one of the hottest boy groups, following their successful appearance at MNET's music competition, "Road to Kingdom," wherein they were hailed as the winner at the end of the show.
Since then, the group who released their 5th EP, "Chase" sold 219,696 at hanteo Charts, and got multiple wins for their main track, "The Stealer."
As for 6th and 7th rank, the rookie group which was labeled by Forbes as the next future of YG Entertainment got the places through their debut album, "The First Step: Chapter One," and "The First Step: Chapter 2" which was released on August 13 and September 18.
Lastly, AB6IX and CRAVITY secured the spot for 9th and 10th spots respectively. AB6IX's "VIVID" was released in February and sold 127, 172. Meanwhile, CRAVITY sold 174, 815 copies for their second EP. "Season 2. Hideout: The New Day We Step Into."
As soon as fans and netizens saw the ranking they were amazed at how they are truly popular especially in international countries.
