WANNABLES, are you excited? Some of the former Wanna One members will be reuniting for a special performance for KCON: TACT Season 2.
According to numerous media outlets, five former Wanna One members will be reuniting to create a special unit group performance in the upcoming KCON: TACT Season 2 concert. The five members who will be coming together are AB6IX's Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin, Park Jihoon, Ha Sungwoon, and Kim Jaehwan. The boys will perform in the second-to-the-last day, on October 24, Saturday.
Sadly, the other Wanna One members, Kang Daniel, Bae Jinyoung, Hwang Minhyun, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Jisung, and Ong Seongwoo will not be participating in the special reunion unit performance.
Other artists who will be participating in the KCON: TACT Season 2 concert include A.C.E, AB6IX, CLC, DAY6, Dreamcatcher, EVERGLOW, GHOST9, IZ*ONE, KARD, JO1, LOONA, Kim Wooseok, Lee Eunsang, MAMAMOO, Natty, Sunmi, THE BOYZ, TOO, VERIVERY, WEi, ONEUS, ONF, and WOODZ (Cho Seungyeon).

Wanna One is an eleven-member South Korean boy group that was formed through the Mnet survival show "Produce 101 Season 2". The group debuted in 2017. Wanna One is composed of Yoon Jisung, Ha Sungwoon, Hwang Minhyun, One Seongwoo, Kim Jaehwan, Kang Daniel, Park Jihoon, Park Woojin, Bae Jinyoung, Lee Daehwi, and Lai Kuanlin.
Prior to their appearance on the show, numerous members had already made their appearance in the entertainment industry. Park Jihoon was a child star and appeared in numerous famous shows such as "Kimchi Cheese Smile" and "The King & I". He also appeared in variety shows alongside boybands BIGBANG, SS501. Hwang Minhyun debuted as a member of NU'EST in 2012. Ha Sungwoon debuted as a member of HotShot in 2014. Kim Jaehwan previously competed in the second season of "Korea's Got Talent", but was eliminated in the semi-finals.
Wanna One was known as one of the biggest boy groups in South Korea, and during their active period, they were known for charting numerous boy group brand power rankings. The group was also known for their marketing power and in 2017 alone, the group featured in 16 advertisements in various fields such as cosmetics, clothing, mobile games, food, beverages, and more. Wanna One was also known for increasing the viewership ratings of any show they appear on.
Wanna One was ranked second in the 30 "Power People" survey by Ilgan Sports in 2017 due to their influence in broadcasting companies and advertisements. They ranked sixth in the top 10 artists of the Gallup Korea survey. In 2017, they were known as the best K-pop artist of the year. Due to their achievements and success, Wanna One was ranked at number two on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity List 2018, a list that ranks South Korea's most powerful and influential celebrities. They ranked 3rd in 2019.
Wanna One officially disbanded in December 31, 2018. However, the group continued to attend year-end shows and award ceremonies throughout 2019. The boys held their last activity, a four-day final concert, from January 24 to 27, 2019.
