Red Velvet has finally made an appearance as a group in KCON:TACT 2020 Season 2, minus member Wendy. Though it is the first time fans saw the group all together as four, there is a heated debate over the outfits the girls wore.
On October 18, Sunday, Red Velvet attended KCON:TACT Season 2 in Gangnam, at the COEX Center. As the girls posed for photos at the event, many could not help but notice the purple-colored costumes that shrouded them with a mysterious aura.
Each of the members attracted quite the attention with their outfits. Yeri was seen with flower clips on both sides of her hair, enhancing her youthful charm.
Irene, on the other hand, was wearing a top that exposes both of her shoulders cooly, showing off her lethal beauty.
Joy was seen wearing a form-fitting mini dress that shows off her collar bones, a look that Red Velvet's stylist tends to go for with Joy.
Finally, Seulgi was seen wearing a long-sleeved crop top, showing off her tiny ant waist.
There were many fans and netizens who praised the girls for the looks, with people saying that it is impressive the girls were able to pull off such unique pieces of clothing. Others say they had a hard time tearing their eyes away from their phone due to how gorgeous the members of Red Velvet are.
Others, however, did not agree. Many claimed the stylists did not do the girls and their doll-like visuals justice by dressing them up in absurd clothing. Many people commented that it would be better if they had worn their normal day-to-day clothes to the event, as it would have most likely looked better than this. Many wondered who the stylist is and what was going in their mind.
Due to their styling, many people have debated online whether the look was good or not. What do you think? Do you like their outfits? Tell us in the comments below!
