On October 17, Refund Sisters, made up of veteran 1st generation K-Pop soloist Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, Hwasa, and Jessie made their first ever debut on Show! Music Core. This event was a hugely anticipated and much awaited one by fans but clearly also by other fellow idols.
This was also the first time in a long while that Uhm Jung Hwa would be attending a music show broadcast, which gave all the hoobaes (junior idols) a chance to realise their dreams and meet their role model.
Uhm Jung Hwa has paved the way for K-Pop as we know it today and it is only obvious that the flagbearers of K-pop now, owe that honour to their senior. It is no surprise therefore that Uhm Jung Hwa's waiting room was flooded by hoobae idols who wanted to greet here.
As an unsaid custom, idols greet each other behind the scenes in the waiting rooms before broadcast and as a token of respect, offer their signed albums. Needless to say, Uhm Jung Hwa received a whole bunch of those signed albums.
On October 19, Uhm Jung Hwa showed off all these albums on her Instagram story. She always shared her support for her hoobaes and displayed their sincere messages on her IG stories. One by one, she showed them all so that no one would feel left behind.
It was adorable to see all the handwritten messages from the idols along with their signatures.
Netizens also pointed out that some of them even addressed her as Man Ok Unni which was her stage name for Refund Sisters instead of her real name. Her instagram account is @umaizing for those who did not know.
