BLACKPINK member Rosé, the female muse of the luxury designer brand Yves Saint Laurent, had a pictorial and interview with the magazine DAZED. There, she revealed she was never forced and never practiced having a specific vocal tone.
In 2016, after four years of training, Rosé debuted as a member of BLACKPINK. Outside of her activities in the group, Rosé gained individual popularity following her appearance on "King of Masked Singer", where her voice was praised by the panel and the audience. She also gained fame for her appearance on "Fantastic Duo 2", where she appeared as a performer.
In June 2020, YG Entertainment confirmed Rosé would be debuting as a soloist in 2020, following the release of BLACKPINK's first full-length album, "THE ALBUM".
