Park Chanyeol transformed into a balladeer for one day to deliver a song at a friend's wedding ceremony.
A few days ago, a short video showing the EXO member singing a ballad single was uploaded on a YouTube channel, one of the guests who attended the said event. The recent clip, later on, became trending in online communities.
In the video, EXO Chanyeol can be seen wearing a suit, although only his upper body can be seen as standing on one side of the venue. The idol sang Paul Kim's "Every Day, Every Moment, " an original soundtrack for the South Korean television series entitled 'Should We Kiss First?' that aired in 2018.
Singing with all his heart, Park effortlessly expressed the emotion of the song. Paul Kim's version of "Every Day, Every Moment is no doubt worth notable, but Chanyeol's rendition exposed his unique deep voice, which can make anyone melt and fall in love. This proves that the EXO member does not only excel in rapping but in singing as well.
This is not the first time the rapper turned into a balladeer. On October 13, 2018, Park Chanyeol sang a congratulatory song at his older sister Park Yoo Ra's wedding.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol has recently sent off fellow EXO member Chen to the military, along with Suho, Baekhyun, and Sehun on October 26. The five of them took a photo with their hands placed on Chen's head after getting a haircut for his enlistment. The pic was posted on the boy group's fan community on Lysn. Chen is the fourth EXO member to carry out his mandatory military service, following Xiumin, D.O., and Suho.
At present, Chanyeol and his other bandmates still have no confirmed activities for the coming months. And last February, the boy group's agency SM Entertainment announced that the remaining active EXO members would be focusing on solo and unit activities for this year since the other members are serving in the military.
Last July 13, Chanyeol and Sehun, also called Exo-SC - a sub-unit of EXO, launched their first studio album entitled "1 Billion Views. It consists of nine tracks, namely "1 Billion Views, "Say It, "Rodeo Station, "Telephone, "Jet Lag, "Fly Away, "Nothing, "On Me, and the instrumental version of "1 Billion Views. To promote the album, "Telephone was launched on July 7 as a pre-release track.
The song "Nothing' is Chanyeol's solo track, in which he took part in writing the lyrics and composing it. It is defined as a hip hop R&B single with harmony between heavy beats and electric guitar sounds. The single is also said to be talking about one's persistence to be in his own way without saying any word and without being mindful of the surroundings.
The album "1 Billion Views is the second release of Chanyeol and Sehun as Exo-SC following their debut on July 22, 2019, with their first extended play "What a Life, which comprises six tracks, including three lead singles: "What a Life, "Just Us 2, and "Closer to You.
