Millions of Kim Kardashian fans will find out the gender of her baby during the eighth season premiere of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" on Sunday, but won't see father-to-be Kanye West at the ultra sound appointment where the baby's gender is revealed.

Kim decided to disclose the baby's gender on the show.   

Khloe Kardashian sat down with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford at the "Today" show on Wednesday, where she cleared up rumors about West's absence during the ultra sound appointment prompted by promotional scenes of the event.

"He was at all the previous [appointments] where we never could find out the sex of the baby," Khloe said on the show. "So that was just the one he wasn't at. But we were videotaping it on our iPhones and everything ... I think he had a concert."

Although Khloe insisted that fans should not misinterpret his absence, considering the fact that he is continuing to work and perform in Paris, many wonder why Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney were the only ones there for such an important day.

Kim and her mother were spotted travelling to Paris last week, where the reality television star is rumored to deliver her child, according to Heatworld.com.

"She's finally come around to the idea of just staying there and having her baby in Europe," a source told Heatworld.com in an interview. "It's one of their favourite places as a couple, so she thinks it will be romantic to have their child there."
