TXT member Taehyun revealed a recent accident to fans before their comeback performance.

On October 29, the boy group performed on the Halloween special of Mnet's 'M Countdown,' along with other K-Pop acts, including BLACKPINK, TWICE, NCT U, and SEVENTEEN, and more, The performance served as TXT's comeback stage for their latest track "Blue Hour.

But before the group could appear on stage, TXT's Taehyun took to the group's official Weverse fan community to unveil what a small accident he had recently. He began his message by saying, "I'm writing this post because there's something I want to tell you before today's 'M Countdown' broadcast."

He continued stating that he accidentally hit his finger while recording for a variety show, leading to his right pinky getting fractured. And, the doctor told him that if he will take good care of it, his pinky would immediately get better. But in order for that to happen, he must wear a guard. Hence, he would be wearing a finger guard during their comeback performance.

TXT's Taehyun further stated that MOA (TXT's official fandom) need not worry as he is doing fine. And that he is thankful that he can still stand on stage and do the best he can. "I'm sorry to my fellow TXT members and MOA for giving you the cause of concern during a time wherein we should be creating a happy start. I will do my utmost so that I can quickly recover and return with an intact right hand," he added.

Meanwhile, TXT sang two of their new songs during their comeback performance on the Halloween special of Mnet's 'M Countdown.' The K-Pop boy group delivered 'We Lost the Summer' and 'Blue Hour', which are both included in their new album titled 'Minisode1: Blue Hour'.

'Minisode1: Blue Hour' is TXT's third extended play and was released on October 26, five months after the boy group's second EP 'The Dream Chapter: Eternity.' The new album contains five songs, including the lead single titled 'Blue Hour'. All TXT members took part in writing the lyrics of their five new tracks. The EP lyrically discusses the emotions from the point of view of a teenager who has encountered various changes in life amid the on-going pandemic.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, TXT's Soobin shared that 'Minisode1: Blue Hour' is their 'pit stop' as they prepare to proceed to their next series. "It is our take on the experiences of unforeseen circumstances, like the COVID-19 pandemic, and we have tried to narrate it through our own sound and fresh energy," he explained.

On October 6, 20 days before the official launch of TXT's new album, Dreamus (an album distributor) reported that the pre-orders of the album reached more than 300,000 copies in just ten days. Considering this, TXT's 'Minisode1: Blue Hour' marks the group's highest album pre-orders. Then, on October 25, one day before its release, the pre-orders were already over 400,000 copies.

Moreover, the music video of the title track 'Blue Hour' has 14.4 million views as of October 30.
