MustM Entertainment has revealed one of the first non-Asian male idols they are about to debut in the K-Pop industry.

The agency recently issued an official statement mentioning their boy group MustB as well as announcing that they are preparing to debut a non-Asian artist.

MustM Entertainment said, "Hello, this is MustM Entertainment. We are the company of boy group MustB, who made their comeback last summer with their album 'Realize.'" "MustB overcame many unfortunate circumstances and showed a stronger image with their comeback," they added.

The label then stated that they are planning to debut one of the first non-Asian male idols in K-Pop. They shared, "Our trainee, Daon (다온), is from America and has lived in Korea for six years. He has many years of idol trainee experience under various companies, and because of that, [he] has an advanced fluency in Korean language, culture, and an understanding of idol life and expectations."

MustM Entertainment also shared that while Daon underwent training in various labels, he experienced writing songs, so he has unparalleled charms that he will show to the public very soon. They added, "We are looking forward to his debut that is being planned early next year, along with a MustB comeback, and also new projects and opportunities that are in the works within our company, which are being planned."

The agency further stated that they are working hard to return with a much stronger, new, and improved MustB and MustM Entertainment.

The label has already created Daon, an official Instagram account. His official profile photos are revealed to be launched at a later date. Additionally, they aim to do some promotions and release articles before they begin Daon's Instagram activities.

Besides being the first non-Asian male idol to debut under MustM Entertainment, Daon will be the second act to debut under the agency, following the K-Pop boy group MustB. He is also the first artist to debut after more than two years since MustB's debut on December 1, 2018.

MustB initially consists of seven members, namely Sihoo, Taegeon, Doha, Wooyeon, Suhyun, Hawoon, and Sangwoo. The boy band held its debut showcase on January 21, 2019, and launched its debut digital single titled 'I Want U' nine days after. Along with their debut song, MustB also released the track 'Time's Up.' As of November 2, the music video for 'I Want U' already reached more than 460,000 views.

On April 21, 2019, MustB was involved in a car accident on Seoul's Olympic-daero, an eight-lane highway in Seoul. The boy group just finished performing in Daegu that time, and they were on their way back to their dorms. Unfortunately, the van hit the guard rail beside the road, leading to the death of MustB's manager Son, who was driving during the accident. Following the accident, Sangwoo and Hawoon departed from the group.

On July 17 this year, MustB released their first mini-album 'MustB' as a five-member group. It consists of an intro plus eight songs, including the title track called 'Realize' and the group's debut single. Also, the male group held an online concert 'Let's Get It' last October 25.
