BROOKLYN has been singing his entire life and has trained with legendary vocal coaches since he was still at a young age. The singer was scouted by an official from Masefield Entertainment at a 2017 music festival in Seoul. At that time, the said label was aiming to debut a solo artist, hence right after seeing the potential BROOKLYN has as a soloist, Masefield encouraged him to join the agency. In that same year, he signed a contract with the label as a trainee.

BROOKLYN underwent training for two years, and in August 2019, he made his solo debut with the single entitled 'Young Love.' The release of the track is accompanied by a colorful music video, displaying the youthful and vibrant ambiance of the song, which was uploaded on the artist's official YouTube channel in that same month.

Prior to his debut, he teamed up with his longtime companion and Korean hip-hop artist, Ki Hyun Lee. They launched the single called 'Nothing I Won't Do' in 2017. Then, on Sept. 14, 2018, he uploaded a cover of BTS's 'DNA.'

In addition, he had several performance opportunities even though he was still in the training process. BROOKLYN held shows in several cities such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Lyon, Paris, and throughout Seoul. He even appeared and performed at Vancouver K-Pop Con 2018, together with f(x)'s Amber Liu and K-pop boy group A.C.E.

With his debut single 'Young Love,' BROOKLYN was able to gain more fans all around the world. The song is entirely made up of English lyrics, which he wrote all by himself. Considering this, he is the very first act to enter the K-Pop music scene with an all-English track.

Meanwhile, the music video for 'Young Love' has reached 30,000 views, and still counting. Netizens even left comments expressing how they love the song, saying it's a masterpiece.

Brooklyn Juliana, for short BROOKLYN, is pure Korean but he was born on November 20, 1999, in Bangkok, Thailand since his parents temporarily lived there for business. He can speak several languages such as Korean, English, and Japanese. Right after his debut, people recognized him for his golden voice and sophisticated visual concepts. His official fan club is called 'Butterflies.'

Last July 11 this year, BROOKLYN held a special mini-concert that was broadcasted live through his YouTube channel. He sang several tracks, including 'If You Don't Mind,' 'Nothing I Won't Do,' his debut single 'Young Love,' and a cover of Lee Hi's 'Breathe.'
