VICTON Byungchan Shares What He Feels Regarding His Acting Debut

VICTON Byunchan expressed his thoughts about him making his acting debut.

The male idol recently collaborated with the 1st Look magazine for its winter-themed photo shoot. Byungchan also sat down for an interview that day.

Byungchan is previously revealed to be one of the artists chosen to take part in the upcoming JTBC drama entitled 'Live On.' He will be working with several other K-Pop celebrities including NU'EST's Minhyun, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, Jung Da Bin, Noh Jong Hyun, and Yang Hye Ji.

During the interview, he was asked what he feels about him debuting as an actor. Byungchan shared, "I'm looking forward to it and I'm excited. As soon as I read the script, I felt like the character and I were similar at some points." He continued, "It was like wearing clothes, which were just the right fit. I think I have read the script at least 10 times per day to really get into character."

VICTON Byungchan previously had a cameo appearance in the television show called 'Sassy Go Go' back in 2015. Playing one of the main roles in the upcoming drama 'Live On' is his very first time, hence it marks his acting debut.

'Live On' is described as a romance drama that takes place in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. Byunchan will be starring as a student named Kim Yoo Shin, who is a Beagle-like, clever guy. Jung Da Bin takes the role of Baek Ho Rang, a school celebrity as well as a social media influencer who joins the said club for doubtful reasons.

Meanwhile, NU'EST's Minhyun acts as Go Eun Taek, the leader of the broadcasting club who is a perfectionist and at the same time strict. Noh Jong Hyun plays Do Woo Jae, a disciplined student and a gentleman who is a close friend of Go Eun Taek.

Moreover, Do Woo Jae and Kang Jae Yi act as a couple in 'Live On.' Official posters, individual teasers of the cast members, and a video clip giving a sneak peek of the drama have already been revealed last month.

Meanwhile, during the talks with 1st Look, VICTON Byungchan also named that one thing that gives him happiness and he said VICTON's fans ALICE. The idol said, "They always give me great energy so thinking of them makes me happy."

And regarding VICTON's fan meeting on Nov. 8, he stated that the boy group will be performing never-seen-before sides of the members, so fans should look forward to it.

VICTON's latest release is their second single album titled 'Mayday' last June 2 this year. Thanks to this track, the boy band was able to win their third trophy in a music show. In addition, VICTON's Seungwoo has made his solo debut on July 16 with the mini-album 'Fame,' featuring its title track 'Sacrifice. He is the very first VICTON member to debut as a solo artist.

Furthermore, Play M Entertainment previously announced that the male group is set to make a comeback on December 1 with a new album.

Meanwhile, 'Live On' is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be out on Viki.
