On Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, the Korean Brand Research Institute released their brand reputation rankings for girl groups for the month of November. There, TWICE ranked as the most popular female K-pop group for the month.

In order to determine the reputation rankings for girl groups, the Korean Brand Research Institute analyzed o45,569,915 pieces of data from Oct. 7 to Nov. 7 and measured their brand reputation index by determining the group's community participation index, media index, communication index, and community reception index. Compared to last month's available data of 65, 915, 738, this month saw a decrease of 30.87%.
The brand reputation rankings is an index created through data analyses to discover the online habits of consumers and the influences celebrities have on brand consumption. The girl group brand reputation rankings can measure the positive and negative influence of these girl groups, media interest, consumers' interest, and communication volume.
For this month, November, TWICE (Jihyon, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu) ranked at number one with a brand reputation index of 5,479,720. The group has a participation index of 912,152, a media index of 1,097,360, a communication index of 1,594,245, and a community index of 1,875,963. Compared with their brand reputation index of 3,084,198 in October, their index rose by 77.67%.
BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa) ranked at number two with a brand reputation index of 5,395,467. The girl group has a participation index of 981,104, a media index of 1,303,80, a communication index 1,585,317, and a community index of 1,425,247. Compared with their brand reputation index of 6,186,611 in October, their index fell by 14.40%.
At number three, we have MAMAMOO (Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa) with a brand reputation index of 3,481,954. They have a participation index of 303,076, a media index of 939,170, a communication index of 905,592, and a community index of 1,334,126. Compared with their brand reputation index of 3,930,847 in October, their index fell by 11.42%.
Multinational girl group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) ranks in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,503,905. The girl group had a participation index of 133,008, a media index of 639,160, a communication index of 860,106, and a community index of 871,632. Compared with their reputation index of 3,579,642 in October, their index fell by 30.05%.
Fifth place goes to OH MY GIRL (Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Jiho, Binnie, and Arin) with a brand reputation index of 2,397,807. They have a participation index of 275,740, a media index of 566,080, a communication index of 930,159, and a community index of 625,828. Compared with their reputation index of 4,401,065 in October, their index fell by 45.52%.
