The South Korean solo artist has started the countdown for her new album.

Mark your calendars - Baek Ye Rin will be returning to the music scene!

On Nov. 23, the singer took to Instagram to reveal that she will be making a solo comeback with a new album titled "tellusaboutyourself," which will be Baek Ye Rin's second full-length album. She uploaded teaser images showing a series of dot coded inside three tables without any clue of what they imply. The photos also unveiled that Baek Ye Rin will release her new album on Dec. 10 at 6:00 p.m. KST.

According to Blue Vinyl, the artist's management agency, the upcoming album "tellausaboutyourself" encompasses a wider extent of music by taking challenges on new genres beyond the existing music that Baek Ye Rin has released before.

The label also stated that they will show a work that fully displays the present Baek Ye Rin by increasing the participation in the arrangement of the songs as well as in writing and composing. In addition, the solo artist is said to have taken part in the album visuals, including the concept photo.

Baek Ye Rin's upcoming album "tellusaboutyourself" marks her second album released under her own independent record label called Blue Vinyl, which she established on Nov. 6, 2019. The first one is titled "Every Letter I Sent To You," which was out on Dec. 10 of the same year.

Additionally, it is her third release overall under Blue Vinyl - the very first is the single "Popo (How Deep Is Your Love)" on Nov. 22, 2019. Considering the release date of "Every Letter I Sent To You," Baek Ye Rin's new album "tellusaboutyourself" marks her first in a year.

Meanwhile, Baek Ye Rin's previous album comprises 18 songs, and 17 of those were written in English. One of the songs in the album is titled "Square (2017)," which made Baek the very first South Korean artist to peak at No. 1 on different music charts with a song in English.

The single then scored an "all-kill" after topping the daily and real-time charts of Genie, Soribada, Melon, and Bugs, as well as real-time charts of Flo and iChart. While "Square (2017)" was well-received upon its release, the album also ranked first on numerous charts in South Korea.

Dubbed as the "genius girl" because of her vocal talent, skills in playing the piano, and fluency in English, Baek Ye Rin first debuted as a member of the duo "15&" under JYP Entertainment, together with Park Jimin, who now goes by the stage name Jamie. The duo made its debut on Oct. 7, 2012, with the single "I Dream."
