TXT members have lent their voices to the first original soundtrack of JTBC's new drama.
The release date for the very first OST of the latest drama "Live On" has been revealed!
On Nov. 23, it was announced that the soundtrack, in which TOMORROW X TOGETHER participated, is scheduled to be launch on Nov. 24 at 6:00 p.m. KST. The track is titled "Your Light," and it will be the main theme song of the JTBC K-Drama. Some parts of the song were featured in the preview of the second episode of the show, exciting fans to hear its full version.
While this is the second time that K-Pop boy group TXT took part in the OST of a show, this is their first time singing for a K-Drama. The band previously lent their voices to the soundtrack of "Black Cover," a Japanese animated series based on a well-known manga. The track "Everlasting Shine" serves as the opening theme of the said anime show.
Meanwhile, "Live On" is JTBC's new drama about a high school broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. The show stars NU'EST's Minhyun, Jung Da Bin, Yang Hye Ji Hwang Min Hyun, Noh Jong Hyun, VICTON's Choi Byung Chan, and former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo.
In the drama, Jung Da Bin takes on the role of Baek Ho Rang, the school celebrity and social media influencer who joins the broadcasting club, which is led by the strict and perfectionist Go Eun Taek, who is played by NU'EST's Minhyun.
Noh Jong Hyun takes on the role of Do Woo Jae, a disciplined student and a gentleman who is a close friend of Go Eun Taek. Yang He Ji plays Ji So Hyun, a model student and the vice president of the broadcasting club. These two characters act like a couple in "Live On."
JTBC's "Live On" aired its first episode on Nov. 17, and the next episode is set to air on Nov. 24.
