TOMORROW x TOGETHER Undergoes COVID-19 Testing Following Appearance on 'Boni Hani'

TXT members have undergone COVID-19 testing after guesting on a South Korean television show.

On Nov. 25, EBS announced that one of the staff members from the show "Tok! Tok! Boni Hani" was learned to have come in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. With that, the program's hosts and staff have been considered as individuals who were in contact with a potential secondary COVID-19 carrier. All of them have undergone testing and will be having a 14-day quarantine.

TOMORROW x TOGETHER, who recently guested on the children's television show "Tok! Tok! Boni Hani" last Nov. 19, also decided to take some tests for COVID-19 infection. A representative from the boy group's agency Big Hit Entertainment affirmed that all five members of TOMORROW x TOGETHER have undergone COVID-19 testing and are currently waiting for the results.

Big Hit's boy group TXT has just made its comeback in the K-Pop scene with its third extended play titled "Minisode1: Blue Hour," with the lead single "Blue Hour" on Oct. 26. To promote their latest release, all five TXT members made their first appearances on the said program together.

The band has also been promoting their album, specifically "Blue Hour," on different music shows. Not to mention, TXT has won first place on "The Show" last Nov. 3 after gaining a total score of 8,370, beating Song Ha Ye's 4,593 and CIX's 4,276. Moreover, the all-male group appeared on several radio shows, including SBS Power FM's Cultwo Show, MBC FM4U's Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon. TXT also performed "Blue Hour" on Genius's "Open Mic."

Co-composed and co-written by "hitman" Bang Si Hyuk, Kyler Niko, Slow Rabbit, and LIL 27 CLUB, "Blue Hour" is an uptempo disco and dance single that features a synth-indebted sound. This marks the band's first try at a disco genre. Its lyrics express the boy's mixed emotions of amazement and fear as they look up at the sky at 5:53 p.m., which is when the sun sets in October. It is also the time when the sky is at its finest, but it is also the point in which shadows immediately turn dark.

With their latest album, "minisode1: Blue Hour," TXT was able to break their record on Billboard 200. Billboard revealed that for the week ending Nov. 21, TXT has landed on No. 25 at the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most famous albums in the United States of all genres.

This is the second time that TXT was able to enter the said chart. The first one was way back in March 2019 with their debut mini-album "The Dream Chapter: STAR," which took the No. 140 spot on Billboard 200.

In other news, TOMORROW x TOGETHER's "minisode1: Blue Hour" ranked first on the World Albums chart for the same week ending Nov. 21. It then became No. 2 for the week of Nov. 28. Also, TXT is confirmed to join the lineup of Melon Music Awards 2020.
