Former 'Produce 48' Participant Go Yujin Receives Hate Comments after Her YouTube Confession

After uncovering the truth behind the "Produce" series, former "Produce 48" contestant Go Yujin has been receiving hateful comments from some viewers who have watched her confession through YouTube.

On Dec. 2, Go Yujin and "Produce 101 Season 2" participant Lee Insoo appeared on Ripple S's YouTube channel and exposed the survival show with their own experiences. This exposé was made in the midst of the "Produce" series voting manipulation scandal.

In the video, the two former contestants revealed how they were chosen to compete in the program and what happens to the people who cast them. Insoo also talked about one of his friends who was an outcast in his label and was also eliminated in the show because of his poor attitude. They even stated that they knew that the show was rigged.

While most viewers gave positive reactions to the confession of the two former "Produce" contestants, some people were unhappy over their tell-all session. In particular, Go Yujin has been receiving hate comments following the revelation. She took to her Instagram to share the malicious comments. Through her Instagram stories, she posted a series of screenshots of the messages sent by those who didn't enjoy her disclosure.

In the first screenshot, the Instagram user said, "After filming the video, you have the courage to laugh? You just ruined the lives of others and you have the guts to smile? Geez...can't you see that IZ*ONE is promoting? Yeah, you just keep revealing your secrets but know one thing, you are responsible for damaging your own reputation. I hope you live well. Don't get in the ways of others' lives. Your true colors were shown in the video you filmed."

The other screenshot of a message from a different Instagram user reads, "Excuse me, hello. How can you laugh while telling a story about someone who was cast out? Does that make you feel good? You're older so you should act your age. You were giggling in front of everyone so why are you agreeing? And amidst everything, you think it's funny so you post it all onto your stories? I can't tell if you can understand the situation, but next time think before you speak."

Despite these hate comments, Go Yujin didn't let those get to her and confidently responded to them. She told them to focus on their lives and don't bother her as it was annoying. She also posted a short message via her Instagram story in which she said, "As I've mentioned before on Twitter, I will take legal action against those who say malicious things to me. Don't say things online that you can't say to my face."

Last June of this year, Go Yujin made an Instagram post, revealing that she has parted ways with her company 8D Creative. She also announced that she has given up on her dream of debuting as an idol and that she will be living a life as a non-celebrity from that day forward. That same month, she launched her personal YouTube channel.
