Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Caught Shading SM Entertainment on Instagram

Taeyeon recently pinned a comment on one of her Instagram posts, and it is speculated she did so to shade her company, SM Entertainment. Keep on reading to see it for yourself.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, Taeyeon shared a video made by her fans, the SONEs, on her Instagram. The video is a fan-made highlight medley for her most recent mini-album "What Do I Call You." The idol took the time to share the video with her fans, thanking them for their hard work.

However, the idol also left a series of Korean letters in her post. Looking at it, the letters do not form to make coherent words, much less a whole sentence. This had fans wondering what message Taeyeon was trying to send.

One fan tried to guess what the acronym is, commenting under the post, "This is better than SM. SM, work harder!"

The comment got thousands of likes, with many people agreeing that SM Entertainment should have put more time and effort into promoting Taeyeon's new album and the title track. It was also noted that SM Entertainment did not release a highlight medley for Taeyeon, and instead released many highlight clips for each song.

The comment got even more popular among fans after Taeyeon pinned the comment. This brings the comment to the top, making it the first comment fans are able to see. Fans of Taeyeon have speculated that it means she agrees with the commenter and supports their brave remark.

People are now more than ever asking SM Entertainment to work harder to promote Taeyeon, who is arguably their most popular and profitable solo artist at the moment. Many people found the fact that she had pinned the comment extremely amusing and applauded her for acknowledging SM Entertainment's lack of effort into promoting her work.

It is unknown whether that is what the acronym actually stands for, but we have to applaud Taeyeon for her wit and humor!
