BTS Jungkook and BLACKPINK Lisa reigned in the "Hot 100 K-pop Idols" Ranking this year! Along with them, TWICE Nayeon, SHINee's Taemin, Red Velvet Irene, and more were listed, too!

According to Star News, a Korean media outlet in Naver, the annual ranking for "Hot 100 K-pop Idols" hosted by King Choice has finally concluded.

The voting period started on Dec.1 to Dec. 20, earning a total of 54.8 million votes from fans around the world.

Among numerous K-pop idols, only 100 K-pop idols from the second-generation of K-pop to the current generation were selected, including the members from world-renown groups BTS, EXO, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, GOT7, SEVENTEEN, and many more.

BTS Jungkook and BLACKPINK Lisa Reigned as the Hottest Stars This 2020

BTS Jungkook was honored to be crowned the "Hot 100 K-pop Idol" winner in 2020.

The youngest member and main vocalist of the global group topped the list with 14, 594,781 votes, drawing attention from K-pop enthusiasts.

With this title, the idol has established himself as the most popular idol this year, as well as proved how he was treasured as the "golden maknae" (youngest member), given the support he received from fans.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK Lisa ranked second on the overall ranking following Jungkook and the top female idol on the list.

The Thai-born K-pop idols proved how influential and popular she is global with her all-rounder personality. Despite the pandemic, Lisa brought enjoyment to the music industry with her dancing skills, visuals, and rose as a fashion icon, too.

Aside from these, Lisa is also praised for becoming an excellent mentor for China's "Youth With You," not to mention her skyrocketing career as brand models and ambassadors.

On top of that, Lisa is also one of the most followed artists on Instagram, proving her popularity.

"Hot 100 K-pop Idols" 2020 Ranking: Who's on the List?

In the list, numerous second-gen K-pop idols surprisingly topped the list. Kim Hyunjoong, a member of SS501 ranked third, while TVXQ Yunho and JYJ Jaejoong entered ranked sixth and seventh places, respectively.

SHINee's Taemin (13th), CNBLUE's Yonghwa (16th), BIGBANG's G-Dragon (17th), T.O.P (29th), Super Junior Donghae (56th), Heechul (73rd), and many more are some of the second-gen idols who also secured their spot in the ranking.

In addition to this, the most beautiful female idols of all-time, Jisoo (8th), Jiyeon (22nd), Irene (28th), Tzuyu (38th), Suzy (61st), etc. were also included.
