CRAVITY surprised their fans around the world with a surprise release of a Christmas version for their hit single "Breathing."

Dropping the special version video exactly on Christmas eve, the Starship Entertainment super rookie group definitely warmed the hearts of their fans. In the 3:36 special clip available on the group's YouTube channel, the CRAVITY members can be seen doing their part in decorating a Christmas tree. As they solemnly sang their lines, each appeared in warm and cozy winter clothing also in the season's colors - green, white, and red.

The scenes switch intermittently - it treats the fans to an intimate experience with close-up shots of the members singing one-hand and Christmas-themed backdrops on another. As the song comes to a close, all nine members - Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin - gather together for the last scene of blowing the candle off an all-white Christmas cake.

"Listening to this song really gives a warm and comfortable feeling, breathing is not just a song, but this is the result of their hard work and great dedication, they really did a great job this year, thank you very much for all your hard work over the years," one commenter wrote on YouTube. Another fan wrote that "[CRAVITY] isn't just a group, it's a cultural reset," likening the experience of listening to them as "the first gift you open on Christmas" or "a hug from a loved one."

"Breathing" is the last of the tracklist from their successful EP "Season 2 Hideout: The New Day We Step Into," released on August 24. The song was written and composed by KZ, Tae Bongee, and HOFF. "Breathing," or "Hoheup" in Korean, has been a beloved song among fans, with its mellow pop and R&B elements coupled with deeply sentimental lyrics.

The special clip, or Christmas version, for "Breathing" comes in the middle of the group's promotion for their upcoming 2021 comeback, "Season 3 Hideout: Be Our Voice," set for a January 19 release.
