K-Pop boy group MCND goes to space and beyond, with upbeat rhythms and equally colorful background, in the music video for "우당탕 (Crush)," released January 7.

The music video shows the group in red outfits, dancing in what looks like a spaceship, before showing each of the members - Castle J, BIC, Minjae, Huijun, and WIN - in their respective holding cells. As the members escape their rooms, fans are treated to a variety of backgrounds - such as BIC ripping the silver wallpapers from the walls, or Castle J peeking at what looks like a space chamber (or the inside of a washing machine).

Aside from flexing the members' harmony in both vocals and dance performance, the music video also highlights its respective dance and rap lines during the bridge. Shortly after, the group is seen dancing on what seems like a mountain peak dancefloor: filled with flowers and hot air balloons floating behind them. The MV ends with a shot of the five members seated across a table with flowers and candles. Only a few hours since its release, the "우당탕 (Crush)" music video has already surpassed 800,000 views on YouTube and has garnered more than 700,000 hearts on their official Naver V Live channel.

Fans have flocked to the MV's comment section to express love, support, and admiration for the new MCND music video. One commenter wrote: "And this is MCND a rookie group stealing everyone's hearts as they should." Another declared the TOP Media boy group as the "ROOKIES OF THE YEAR," calling on her fellow GEMs - the official fanbase of MCND - to stream the MV even more.

The single "우당탕 (Crush)" serves as the lead track for their second mini-album, "MCND Age." MCND's latest EP is set to drop on January 8, with its physical version - coming in two versions "Hit" and "Get" - following with a January 11 release.
