WATCH: EXO Baekhyun, DJ Raiden, and Changmo Drop Teaser for Collab Song with League of Legends Team 1

It appears like fans are getting a collaboration of big stars: EXO's Baekhyun, DJ Raiden, and rapper Changmo, who will release a new theme song for the League of Legends team 1!

Early this month, DJ Raiden took to Twitter to tease fans about an upcoming collaboration. He posted: "Okay! Hint: collab with 2guys," which evidently reveals he will be working with two artists. Many fans gave their guesses, asking if it is EXO's Sehun and Chanyeol, or maybe Baekhyun or Lay.

The identity of the two artists DJ Raiden will be working with was not unveiled until today, Jan. 19, when SK Telecom CS T1, a South Korean esports team run by the T1 Entertainment & Sports, unexpectedly shared a teaser video of the new theme song for the League of Legends via its official YouTube channel and SNS accounts.

Titled "T1 X Raiden, Baekhyun, Changmo 'Runner' Teaser #1," the clip runs for 15 seconds and shows silhouettes of EXO's Baekhyun and T1 player Canna while a heavy beat plays in the background. The logo of T1 and the names "Raiden," "Baekhyun," and "Changmo" were then displayed on the screen.

Toward the end of the teaser video, the word "RUNNER" appeared atop the artists' names. The numbers, "2021.01.26" was then shown at the end, indicating that the collaboration song will be officially launched on Jan. 26.

With the teaser giving only a few details about the upcoming single, interest of fans on how the song will come has heightened. Also, the video is titled to be only the first teaser, hence fans can expect more to come in the coming days.

The new theme song titled "Runner" will be played as T1's team entrance song when the Korean League of Legend championships, called League of Legends Champion Korea (LCK) proceeds with its offline contests.

In addition, "RUNNER" is a combination of rock, trap, and EDM genres and conveys T1's determination to win back the throne in the competition. Along with the physical release of the collaboration song, a music video will also be shared on T1's official YouTube channel. It will also be released through domestic and overseas music streaming sites such as MelOn, Bugs, Genie, and Naver Music.

In other news, EXO's Baekhyun will be launching his solo debut Japanese mini-album ahead of the release of the new theme song for the League of Legends. The male idol's self-titled mini-album in Japan is set to be out as a local album on Jan. 20. It will also be shared through domestic music sites such as Flo, Genie, and MelOn at noon KST on the same day.

EXO Baekhyun's first Japanese mini-album will be available in a total of six different limited editions - "Get You Alone" version, "WHIPPIN" version, "Disappeared" version, "Addicted" version, "Drown" version, and "Stars" version (EXO-L Japan exclusive edition). Each album renditions takes on the concept of his six Japanese original songs that are included in the upcoming album.
