On Thursday, Jan. 20, Park Yoochun surprised people after he announced the opening of his personal YouTube channel. People are reacting extremely negatively to his video and have since flooded him with comments.
On Park Yoochun's Instagram account, he made a post announcing that he opened his YouTube channel, which he named "Recielo." In his post, he informs fans that he will update everyone on what he is doing through YouTube in the future.
Soon after, a YouTube video titled "Park Yoochun Starts YouTube" was uploaded to the channel. At the start of the video, he is heard saying, "Hello everyone. It is not that special, but I was finally able to open my own YouTube channel. I finally have the chance to meet everyone through YouTube after a long time."
He goes on to say that he will be showing off his daily life through the channel and asks for people's love and support. "I hope that I will be given more opportunities to greet you through YouTube," he tells the viewers.
The video is only 56 seconds long but still managed to cause a stir among the public. Many people were shocked at how shameless he was to start his own YouTube channel despite the past controversies he was involved with. Others speculated that the only reasons he wanted to start a YouTube channel were to profit from the Ad Sense. Some were simply annoyed at how brazen he was.
The likes and dislikes are currently hidden from the public's views, and the comment section has been turned off. On the same day of his first video, he uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of the making of his album "Re:mind." While the comments are turned off for this video, the likes and dislikes are visible. As of press time, the video has 2.4k likes and 64 dislikes.
