SM Entertainment Launches Customized 'Welcome Back Set' to Celebrate EXO D.O's Military Discharge

SM Entertainment will be commemorating EXO D.O's long-awaited return from the military in launching something new!

Back in July 2019, D.O began his military service, becoming the second EXO member to enlist following the group's eldest member Xiumin. Early that month, he quietly entered the military training center at which he carried out his basic training for five weeks.

And on the same day of the idol's military enlistment, his solo track titled "That's Okay" was launched through SM STATION. Then, after his basic training, he eventually served as an active-duty soldier. EXO's main vocalist took part in writing the song's lyrics that are about releasing sad feelings and have hope to gain pure happiness.

On Dec. 28, 2020, Sports Trend reported that EXO D.O was on his final military leave and will officially conclude his activities as an active-duty soldier on Jan. 25 this year. He will not be returning to the military base after his final leave in accordance with the COVID-19-related mandatory service protocol of South Korea.

Since it will only be a few days from now before he comes back, SM Entertainment has created a special gift to celebrate the singer's military discharge that fans can purchase. On Jan. 22, SM Entertainment took to its official SNS accounts meant for their "SMTOWN & STORE" to share a customized "Welcome Back Set," which includes a military-style necklace and tag keyring that has "D.O" with it. Fans can either attach the keyring to the necklace or wear the necklace alone.
