IZ*ONE's latest track, "D-D-Dance," has been officially released across major streaming services, kickstarting Universe Music, January 26.
On 6 PM KST, fans around the world were treated to the release of "D-D-Dance" across music streaming sites - including Melon, Genie, and Bugs. With the landmark single, IZ*ONE also officially marked the start of Universe Music, the original music series under NCSoft and Klap's K-Pop fan interaction platform, UNIVERSE.

IZ*ONE, the first artist to appear on Universe Music, first made their debut with "La Vie en Rose," the lead track from their first EP "Color*Iz," released in 2018. With their first release, the South Korean-Japanese immediately garnered attention, soon being recognized as a monster rookie group and has swept various K-Pop Awards in 2018 - including the Gaon Chart Music Awards' "New Artist of the Year," MAMA's "Best New Female Artist," and Seoul Music Awards' "New Artist Award." Since then, the group has released the hit singles "Violeta," "Fiesta," and "Panorama."
Their latest track "D-D-Dance" features input from the IZ*ONE members themselves, creating a dance-pop song fused with rhythmic guitars and synths. Full8loom, the South Korean composition and music production team that has worked with K-Pop girl groups TWICE, WJSN, Lovelyz, and Weki Meki, also worked on the track.
Its release was preceded by a pair of teaser videos that definitely built up the anticipation. The group name IZ*ONE, suggested by netizens to symbolize the twelve members corresponding to the zodiac, matches perfectly with the UNIVERSE platform. Teasers revealed the individuality that surrounds each of IZ*ONE's members, displayed against backdrops signifying the limitless expanse of space.
It is be accompanied by a music video, released on the 28th. The "D-D-Dance" MV was produced by PINK LABEL VISUAL, which includes director Choi Young-Ji with the visual director Mika, who has worked with Zico, Kang Daniel, MONSTA X, Stray Kids, and more.
