Hanteo already released their monthly album chart for January! Various K-pop groups including NCT, TREASURE, (G)I-DLE, and more entered the list! See top 30!

The "Double Million Seller" group NCT launched under SM Entertainment topped the monthly album chart in January with its second full-length album, "NCT 2020 RESONANCE Pt.2 (Departure Ver.)."

Along with them, the rookie groups, TREASURE, CRAVITY, ONEUS, GOLDEN CHILD, etc. entered the list as well.

Undoubtedly, BTS secured their spot in the rankings, too, with five albums.

NCT Reigned as No. 1 for Hanteo "Monthly Physical Album Chart"

In particular, "NCT – The 2nd Album RESONANCE Pt.2," released in November last year, topped the January monthly chart, including Hanteo Chart and Yes24, which was released on Feb. 1, proving NCT's long-run popularity once again.

In the chart, NCT earned approximately 270,000 sales for the month of January. Earlier, NCT proved its strong record power by becoming a "double million-seller" with a total of 2.68 million albums sold over 1 million copies of both Pt.1 and Pt.2 albums.

In addition, it gained global popularity by winning various charts such as the nine-week chart of Billboard's main album chart "Billboard 200", Japan's Oricon Weekly's overseas album chart, United World Chart, and China's QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart.

Hanteo Released " Monthly Physical Album Chart" for January

Meanwhile, YG's TREASURE, which is also referred to as one of the newly launched groups to watch out for this 2021 ranked second, with 218,349 sales, for their first album, "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT."

Following them, the "Emperor of K-pop" TVXQ Yunho, or prominently known as U-Know, claimed the third spot, showing incredible sales for January, given that his second mini-album, "Noir" was only released on Jan. 18. In two weeks, the K-pop icon already amasses 156,318 physical album sales.

For fourth and fifth places, (G)I-DLE's "I burn" and CRAVITY's "HIDEOUT: SEASON 3 BE OUR VOICE" completed the top 5, with 134,447 and 82,678 sales, respectively.
