BTS is, without a doubt, the biggest male group there is today. So, it comes as no surprise that the latest tracks of Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM, V and Suga have been dominating several music charts around the world, including the Billboard and Spotify charts.
BTS's 'Dynamite' Continues to Make It to the Top
It has been months since BTS dropped "Dynamite," which is the group's way of giving comfort and a feeling of hope to their avid followers who continue to face the perils brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the track remains one of the most listened songs at present.
As a matter of fact, "Dynamite" by BTS was included in the Global 200 Top 10 Chart that was released on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The "uplifting" single of the septet ranked fourth this time around with Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License" being on the top.
Other songs included in the list are "Blinding Lights" popularized by The Weeknd, "Dakiti" sang by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez, and "Mood," which is a dynamic collab from 24kGoldn and iann dior. Ariana Grande's "34+35" ranked sixth while "Good Days" by SZA took the seventh spot. "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and DaBaby, "Save Your Tears" by The Weeknd and "Whoopty" by CJ completed the list.
If that is not enough, "Dynamite" was even part of the Spotify Top 50 Global Song dated January 22 to January 28. This time, the BTS hit track made it to Top 13. Olivia Rodrigo;s "Driver's License" also topped the list with "Dakiti" by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez and "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd in the second and third ranks, respectively.

BTS's 'Dynamite' Outfits Sold for $162,500 at Auction
Meanwhile, BTS proved their influence and star power once again after the colorful outfits they sported in their "Dynamite" music video became the top-selling items at an auction. Reports stated that the entire ensemble collection was sold for $162,500, which is more than eight times the expected amount it was estimated to generate.
The auction, which was hosted by Julien's Auction, was held on Sunday, Jan. 31. Proceeds of the said event would benefit MusiCares, which is a non-profit organization that provides aid to singers, composers, artists and other music professionals in times of need. It was reported that YouTube star HIKAKIN and Japanese art collector Yusaku Maezawa were the buyers of the BTS' outfit collection.
Following BTS' "Dynamite" outfits, a self-portrait painting of Snoop Dogg was the next top seller. The artwork, which featured the American rapper sporting a "Doggy Style 25" gold chain and was personally signed by Snoop Dogg, was sold for $96,000. A painting of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, painted by Billy Morrison, a boiler suit and long beige linen kimono coat of Pete Townsend were also among the auctioned items.
