BTS Collectible Statues to be Available Soon

BTS continues to reap the fruits of their hard work. Aside from their trending performance and hit tracks, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and RM have also become the faces of several brands due to their undeniable star power and influence.

BTS is Set to Release Their Own Collectible Statues

Sideshow revealed on Tuesday, Feb. 2, that it will be collaborating with BTS. The collectibles maker based in California, for starters, is known for their 3D statues, 2D prints, and other items from the characters popularized by Lucasfilm, Warner Bros, Disney, and Marvel.

Reports have it that Sideshow would be launching three unique product lines in partnership with BTS this year. The first product is a series of fine art prints that would feature Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and RM. There will also be a collectible statue that would take inspiration from the official logo of BTS.

Of course, there would be collectible statues of the BTS members. In other words, BTS would finally be included in Sideshow's selection of collectible figures, which include Thor, Ryu, Superman, Iron Man, Harley Quinn, Hulk, and Batman.

Big Hit Entertainment also shared a teaser photo of the said collaboration. The poster featured the silhouettes of Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and RM, which are likely to be the actual figures of their respective statues.

Sideshow is yet to announce the official release date of the BTS collectible items.

BTS Included in Esquire's List of 10 Best Pop Bands of All Time

Meanwhile, BTS added another color to its banner when it was included as one of the best pop bands of all-time list by a popular magazine. Esquire released its list on its official website on Jan. 30.

The entertainment publication described Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga and RM as the greatest contributors to the worldwide success of K-Pop. It added that BTS has, without doubt, redefined what a boy band means. The septet even contributed to major changes in pop music.

BTS is the only group from Asia to make the cut. Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and RM are also the only K-Pop group to be included to the list, which is also composed of Destiny's Child, which is composed of Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce, The Beatles, ABBA, The Beach Boys, Fleetwood Mac, Sly and the Family Stone, The Temptations and The Supremes.

To recall, BTS appeared on the cover of Esquire Magazine's Winter 2020 edition.

For starters, BTS was launched by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. The group effortlessly dominated the music scene with their hit singles like "Boy With Luv," "MIC Drop," "ON," "IDOL," "FAKE LOVE," "Fire," DNA," "Spring Day" and "Blood Sweat & Tears" among others.

In 2020, BTS won the MTV Video Music Award for their trending "Dynamite" music video. BTS is also the very first all-Korean group to ever get a Grammy nomination and topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
