Jung Jinyoung, a member of the K-pop group B1A4, reportedly left Link8 Entertainment while serving in the military.
According to the Korean media outlet Ten Asia the idol-actor already parted ways from his agency and is already looking for a new company prior to his release as a public service worker -- and will later join them after completing his mandatory duty.
In addition to this, reports say that the B1A4 member is also considering his next film to resume his career as an actor.
B1A4 Jinyoung's Military Enlistment and Discharge
In June 2019, Jinyoung entered the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungcheongnam-do to complete his basic military training for four weeks.
The idol and actor officially enlisted on July 20, 2019. However, he proceeded to Dongjak Ward Office, Dongjak-gu Seoul after he was diagnosed with a grade 4 physical examination due to his ruptured right shoulder joints due to injuries suffered during past activities, such as movies, dramas, and performances while promoting with B1A4.
It was announced that Jinyoung will officially be discharged on April 19 after completing alternative service for social service personnel.

Jinyoung, who was discovered after being an ulzzang (internet star), trained for two years and later on debuted as a member of the boy group B1A4, launched by WM Entertainment. The boy band is behind the hits "Beautiful Target," "Rollin'," "Smile Mask," and more.

The group drew attention for their unique introduction as a group, revealing the members through a webtoon. Jinyoung was the first member to be introduced and became the leader of the group as well. B1A4 received positive feedback from international fans, particularly in Japan.
The male idol rose into popularity, capturing the attention of the K-drama viewers. In 2013, Jinyoung debuted through the drama "She is Wow," and since then, he appeared in various notable dramas and movies including, "Miss Granny," "Love in the Moonlight," "The Dude in Me," and "My First First Love."
In 2018, WM Entertainment announced that Baro and Jinyoung will leave the agency, leaving CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan. WME also stated that the three will be reformed and will continue to promote with the remaining three members.
Fans expressed their heartaches with the thought of the possibility of Jinyoung quitting the band. However, he clarified in 2019 that he didn't leave B1A4, and if his agency and WM Entertainment will both agree with such terms and conditions, the possibility to promote with the other members again is open.
As a result, fans are paying keen attention to Jinyoung's future work as an actor, a singer-producer, and B1A4 member.
