BTS member Jin has started making a mark as a solo artist. On Thursday, Feb. 4, MelOn revealed that the co-member of Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V, and RM has made an exemplary achievement on the music chart.
BTS Jin Reaches New Milestone With Solo Single 'Moon'
The song "Moon," sung by BTS member Jin, was announced to be the most-liked solo song of overall 2020 boy group solo songs on MelOn. The said track garnered a total of 154, 982 hearts ever since it made its debut on the music site.
Aside from "Moon," "Filter" by BTS member Jimin also made it to the list with 154,979 hearts, securing the second spot. "Inner Child" by BTS member V ranked third with more than 143,000 hearts, followed by Jungkook's "My Time" in fourth place with 141,868 hearts.
"Shadow" by BTS member Suga came in the fifth spot with more than 128,500 hearts while "Intro: Persona" by RM secured the sixth place with 126,678 hearts. "Outro: Ego" by J-Hope, on the other hand, took the seventh rank with more than 123,200 hearts.
"Moon" by BTS member Jin was also the longest-charting BTS solo song from the "Map of the Soul: 7" album with a stunning record of 233 days. It was followed by "Filter" (227 days), "My Time" (185 days), "Inner Child" (149 days), "Shadow" (146 days), "Ego" (138 days), and "Persona" (66 days).

If that is not enough, the same track was pronounced as the highest-charting BTS solo songs of all time on the MelOn Top 1,000 Chart. As of Feb. 2, 2021, "Moon" by BTS Jin was listed in No. 373 followed by "Filter" in No. 397, "My Time" in No. 705, "Inner Child" in No. 731, and "Ego" in No. 992.
Furthermore, "Moon" by BTS Jin peaked at No. 109 on iTunes Worldwide Hits charts, including France, Canada, Australia, and the United States of America. This just proves that Jin a K-Pop idol who can shine independently even without his other co-members.
BTS Jin Reacts After Fans Compared Him to 'True Beauty' Character Suho
Jin finally gave his reaction to remarks comparing him to another Hallyu star. Some fans have claimed that the BTS member and "True Beauty" character Lee Suho, portrayed by ASTRO Cha Eun Woo in the live-action, have striking visual and fashion style resemblances.
Though there have been a number of netizens debating who among the two stars look better, BTS Jin stated that he and Lee Suho are both handsome in real life. Numerous followers of the "Life Goes On" hitmaker adored his remark, with some saying that Jin is totally a generous and sweet person.
BTS members Jin and Jungkook were also included in a fan-made poster for the Netflix series called "Sweet Home." The snap, which included a red filter across Jin and Jungkook's faces, portrayed as if the "Dynamite" singers are part of the drama series.
However, it should be noted that BTS members Jin and Jungkook were never part of the Netflix show. In fact, Lee Si Young, Lee Jin Wook, and Song Kang were the lead stars of the South Korean apocalyptic horror series.
