BTS Earns More Nominations After Grammys + Gets Gold Certification In U.K. For 'Dynamite'

BTS is, undeniably, the biggest K-Pop act there is today. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM have been smashing various music charts around the globe and breaking records after records after releasing two albums in 2020 titled "Map of the Soul: 7" and "BE."

BTS Continues Earning Music Awards Nominations

Though the Big Hit Entertainment-formed group has been working very hard to deliver what are expected of them by their avid followers, their efforts, fortunately, did not go unnoticed. As a matter of fact, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM have earned various nominations recently.

Among these is the for the upcoming Swiss Music Awards 2021. BTS is vying for the Best Group International award. Aside from Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM, American music group Black Eyed Peas and Australian rock band AC/DC were also nominated in the said category.

To vote for BTS, click here. The winners of the Swiss Music Awards would be announced on Feb. 26, 2020. So, devoted supporters of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM should stay tuned for updates.

Aside from the Swiss Music Awards, BTS was also nominated in the Space Shower Music Awards 2021. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM are vying for the People Choice Award. Other South Korean groups vying for the trophy are TREASURE, THE BOYZ, LOONA, Stray Kids, ONF, and IZ*ONE among many others.

In that is not enough, BTS has also dominated the nominees list of the imminent 18th Korean Music Awards. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM are vying Album of the Year, Best Pop Song, and Song of the Year trophies for their popular hit song "Dynamite." They were also nominated in the Artist of the Year and Best Pop Album ("Map of the Soul:7") categories.

BTS also scored a nomination in the forthcoming 2021 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The South Korean boyband is vying for the Favorite Music Group award along with BLACKPINK, One Republic, Maroon 5, Jonas Brothers and Black Eyed Peas. "Dynamite" was also among the Favorite Song nominees.

Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM would also be contending with some of the biggest names in the music industry today, including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, after they got their first Grammy Award nomination on Nov. 25, 2020. The winners would be announced on March 14.

'Dynamite' by BTS Is Getting Gold Certification in United Kingdom

Meanwhile, BTS would be the very first South Korean group to ever get a gold certification in the United Kingdom. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, V and RM would be conferred the award after their trending track titled "Dynamite" was sold more than 400,000 copies in the region.

Most, if not all, fans can recall that BTS dropped "Dynamite" on Aug. 21, 2020. In other words, the boys is selling, approximately, 80,000 unit a month in its first five months, which makes the said track a huge hit.
