Kang Seung Yeon, who appeared on the YouTube channel "Late Night Sindang" run by actor and shaman Jung Hogeun on February 5, confessed her difficult life growing up and the obstacles she met while trying to chase her goals and dreams.
Who is Kang Seung Yeon?
In particular, Kang Seung Yeon became known to viewers after her appearance and participation in TV Chosun competition programs "Miss Trot" and KBS "Trot National Sports Festival."
During the talk show, she said, "I haven't made my official debut yet, but I usually made my face known through trot audition programs."
Kang Seung Yeon reveals she's a former idol trainee who's preparing to debut in a girl group before changing her career to being a trot singer.

In the show, Kang unveiled her unfortunate past behind her lovely smile for the first time in public.
Starting with her family, she confessed, "My parents are not in a good condition and we are not in a good relationship, so I did everything by myself without help."
She then talked about her childhood exposure to domestic violence. Kang Seung Yeon revealed that her biological father often hit her mother physically, that she even reported it to the police--to stop her father from hurting her mother.
Eventually, her parents parted ways, and while her mother found someone else and got married again to a stepdad, the distance between Kang and her father became worse as they only got to contact each other once in a blue moon.
Due to her traumatic experiences, she avoided staying at home, and to be able to protect herself; the endeavoring singer then decided to live alone.
At the young age of 22, Seung Yeon's dream is to become a singer. However, her experiences were not as smooth as they could be due to the adults, who took advantage of her young mind.

She said, "At the young age of 22, I was forced to have an unwanted drinking party, and my manager tried to do something terrible at a motel I went to because of a local event schedule."
During that time, Seung Yeon even attempted to make an extreme decision, shocking viewers as she claimed she thought of jumping out of the motel instead of being molested.
Jung Hogeun comforted the teary-eyed singer just by listening to her sad stories.
"She added, "Because I had a lot of pain in my young heart alone, I always wear a mask to talk brightly and casually, but it will hurt so much when I think about myself in silence."
After the broadcast, sympathies and comforting messages poured to comfort and praised Seung Yeon for being strong despite shocking experiences.
