South Korean total performer Lee Ho Won recently dropped by the SBS Power FM show "Lee Joon's Youngstreet," sharing details about his comeback project.

Lee Ho-won, also known as Hoya, plays the lead role in the musical "Swag Age: Shout, Joseon!" Set in a fictionalized Joseon Dynasty Korea, Ho-won brings "Dan" to life. In a strict society where Sijo is a matter of life or death, Dan is a cheonmin - or the lowest of commoners - who did not give up and continues to recite sijo. As a free-spirited poet, he clashes with Joseon's restrictive and elitist caste system.

In his Lee Joon's Youngstreet appearance, Lee Ho Won shares how the musical marked his first role after completing his mandatory military service. He first announced his upcoming service on February 5, 2019, starting his enlistment two days later as a public service worker on February 7. The former INFINITE member, and now a solo artist, was discharged last December 6.

The musical "Swag Age: Shout, Joseon!" will be running until February 29 at the CJ Towol Theater of the Seoul Arts Center.

About Lee Joon and Youngstreet

Aside from his music career with MBLAQ and his subsequent solo releases, he was also an actor, starting with the 2010 series Jungle Fish 2, where he also sang one of the tracks in its official soundtrack.

Lee Joon's Youngstreet is a radio show on SBS Power FM, replacing his real-life partner, actress, and DJ Jung So-min as its new host in December 2019. It became Lee Joon's first major stint after being discharged from his own military service.
