TXT and ENHYPEN will be teaming up with each other for a new variety show titled "PLAYGROUND" in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
On Feb. 10, Big Hit Entertainment issued the news of TXT and ENHYPEN appearing together on "PLAYGROUND," in which the two teams will create content for the upcoming holiday and enjoy themselves playing different games together. The two boy bands will also showcase their strong chemistry as senior and junior artists. TXT is signed under Big Hit Entertainment, while ENHYPEN is an artist under BELIFT LAB, a joint-record label established by Big Hit and CJ ENM.
Lunar New Year Variety Show "PLAYGROUND" Will Have Two Episodes
TXT and ENHYPEN will be working together on two episodes of "PLAYGROUND." In the first episode, ENHYPEN will join the clubs created by TXT. The process of joining clubs will be shown, as well as the exciting competition between clubs. Among the clubs, one will be chosen as the best and will receive club funds as a prize, making the contest more interesting to watch.

In the second episode of the upcoming variety show, the two K-pop boy groups will play a traditional Korean board game called "yut," which is usually enjoyed during Korean New Year. However, it will not be played in a common way, as the teams will try to win items that will give them an advantage in the game and take on various other missions.
TXT and ENHYPEN are expected to showcase their skills and competitive sides in terms of the game.

Big Hit Three Sixty will produce "PLAYGROUND," which is set to air on JTBC. The first episode of the program will be broadcast on Feb. 11 at 8 a.m. KST and the second one will be on Feb. 12 at 8 a.m. KST on JTBC2. On Feb. 14, both episodes will air back to back at 10 a.m. KST on JTBC4.
TXT Drops Lunar New Year Video Greeting + Collaborates with TikTok
Meanwhile, TXT has already shared a video to greet MOAs (TXT's fan club) a happy new year and also reveal their wishes for 2021. Huening Kai said that he wishes he could write and compose a song for their album, while Taehyun stated that he wishes for them to hold a solo concert. As for Yeonjun, he wishes to see their fans more often.
Soobin then shared, "I personally wish I could become awesome at playing the piano." And Beomgyu's wish is for everyone to be happy this year. Watch the full video greeting below!
In other news, TXT recently collaborated with TikTok for an exclusive Valentine's Day celebration. The Big Hit boy group launched a "#bemyvalentine" activity in which fans can unlock special surprises from the band.
ENHYPEN Successfully Holds First Fan Meeting + Tops Oricon Weekly Chart in January
Rookie group ENHYPEN, meanwhile, topped the Oricon Weekly Chart with their "ENHYPEN 2021 Season's Greetings" DVD, which sold a total of 12,758 copies. Moreover, the band has successfully wrapped up its first fan meeting "2021 ENHYPEN FANMEETING: EN-CONNECT" on Feb. 6 and 7 through online live streaming and offline performances. This is ENHYPEN's first fan meeting just two months after their debut.
